"Régine Chopinot has designed an incredible piece of machinery: an eight-metre-high scaffolding with two levels of lateral walkways, equipped with pulleys, ropes, safety belts, a trapeze and a swing. An instrumentarium designed to get the dancers off to a flying start: the pirouette, the jump, the battement, the balancé and the cabriole. The execution of these powerful figures, thanks to this decorum, reaches the height of virtuosity. All the more so as the dance area has gained in depth, volume and height. Eccentric and eccentric, the frontal box of the stage is shattered; the floor is everywhere, the choreographic center is nowhere."
