"Life is, above all, a wide-open path of people with different backgrounds who, by coming together, make, invent a common language from their actions."
Régine Chopinot organizes a score of dance, rhythm and words for twenty young people learning French at the C.A.A.A. in Toulon.
Initially scheduled for October 2020, this project has been postponed to May 2021, following the installation of the second containment system.
Régine Chopinot and her team develop a choreographic structure during their 6-day residency at Le Liberté, from Tuesday May 4 to Monday May 10, culminating in a public presentation of their work.
The aim is to continue the singular and necessary adventure of an artist facing society begun in 2015, in Toulon city center, with the complicity of Line Cathelain - at the time director of the Visitation city center social center - and Anne Robert in charge of the C.A.A.A. Since 2017, this artistic adventure has continued at the Port des créateurs where Régine Chopinot is associate artist.
The choreographer is surrounded and supported by a loyal team, including assistant dancer Bekaye Diaby, drummer Vincent Kreyder and sound engineer Nicolas Barillot. With Deyvron Noël for the images.
