As part of the Danse en amateur et Répertoire project, supported by Laurent Barré of the CN D in Pantin, Régine Chopinot accepted Stéphanie Le Coq's proposal from a group of amateur dancers from Bordeaux - Association Transverses - to remount 12 minutes of La Danse du Temps , adapting it to the context and the performers.

For the record, La Danse du Temps, was created on November 8 and 9 1999 in La Rochelle, for 16 dancers including Françoise and Dominique Dupuy, then associate artists at the CCN de La Rochelle.

With the help of Virginie Garcia and John Bateman, former CCN dancers and CCN emeritus performers, a transmission schedule has been validated in order to present the result during the evening reserved for the Théâtre National de Chaillot in Paris on October 24 and 25, 2019.

Following COVID -19, new dates for Régine Chopinot have already been set: October 17, 18, 19, 2020 at La Manufacture in Bordeaux and April 3, 4, 5 at CCN La Rochelle. Public presentation at CN D - Pantin on May 29 and 30, 2021.

This project is entirely funded by the Centre National de la Danse and managed by the Association Transverses.
